Dr. Jennifer M. Zavoral is a board certified periodontist who has been working in the field since 2011. She received her B.S. in Biology from Youngstown State University in 2004, then earned her D.M.D. degree in 2008 and her Certificate in Periodontology in 2011 from the University of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine. Additionally, she received her M.P.H. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health in 2009. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics.
Dr. Zavoral is very excited to join Dr. Werkmeister and his team in servicing the North Hills and general Pittsburgh area to help patients who require dental implant procedures. In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Zavoral maintains a part-time faculty position in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine. Her professional memberships include the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society, American Association of Women Dentists, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Pittsburgh Academy of Periodontics, and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Zavoral is committed to providing her patients with caring, comprehensive, evidence-based dental care. Her scope of dental care includes treating all areas in the field of periodontics, including osseous surgery, soft tissue grafts, crown elongations, guided bone and tissue regeneration, and implant dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zavoral resides in Cranberry Township, PA, with her husband, Ernie, her son, Thomas, and her daughter, Mary. She enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her family.
